BROADS PHOTOGRAPHY CRUISES – NORFOLK AND NORWICH COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHER

Yesterday saw me finally get a chance to join 2 former Royal Air Force colleagues for a day enjoying their new business venture, Broads Photography Cruises.  Bill and Pat are co-owners of the Horning-based company and provide guided photography tours of the stunning Norfolk Broads.  Hugely relaxed but knowledgable and enthusiastic about all things wildlife, photography, The Broads and boating-related, Pat and Bill are great company and provide a fantastic and unique package for customers looking to combine a chilled day on the Broads with a passion for photography.  Their day-long cruises for groups of up to around 4 people are bespoke and can be tailored to the interests or needs of their customers.  With tea, coffee, biscuits and soft-drinks in abundance, customers really only need to bring their packed lunches and cameras and then sit back and enjoy the opportunity to explore the very best that the Norfolk Broads have to offer.  As someone who is neither equipped or passionate about wildlife photography (or indeed boats!), I did wonder how much I’d personally get from the cruise – all I can say is that my fears were unfounded.  Despite some dull weather at the start of the day and my own reservations, the infectious enthusiasm of the team and the steady flow of beautiful scenery and interesting, rare and varied wildlife soon had me reaching for the camera in a way that I’d not expected.  Although my images below don’t do full justice to the beauty of the places visited yesterday (and I’m already thinking about longer lenses and a return trip!), I can’t recommend highly enough a trip out with Broads Photography Cruises.  Young or old, passionate about photographing wildlife or scenery, simply after a bespoke guided tour of The Norfolk Broads on a lovely small boat, there is something for everyone.  If you’d like to see far better images than my own, follow news of Broads Photography Cruises or simply know more, please do visit them on Facebook and ‘Like’ their page.  Thanks again to Bill and Pat who were outstanding hosts for the day – I wish you all the very best in your business venture which I just know is going to be a huge success.
